Voyager Technology Solutions, LLC

Last updated: August 29, 2026

This policy describes how Voyager Technology Solutions, LLC (“Voyager,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit voyagerit.com, fill out a form, email or text us, or otherwise deal with us as a business contact.

It does not govern Client Data we process on a client’s systems or in a client’s accounts while performing services. That is covered by our Master Services Agreement (the client agreement posted in our Client Agreement documents) and, if protected health information is involved, a separate Business Associate Agreement. This page is about information we collect as a business: website visitors, leads, billing contacts, and similar.

We are a Michigan company:

1. Information we collect

You give us

  • Name, company, job title
  • Email address, phone number, mailing address
  • The content of forms, emails, texts, and voicemails
  • Newsletter or event sign-ups, if you ask for them
  • SMS opt-in and opt-out records, if you agree to texts

We collect automatically when you use the site

  • IP address, browser and device type, operating system
  • Pages viewed, dates and times, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP
  • Cookie, device, and usage data from the measurement tools in section 4 (including session recordings from Microsoft Clarity)

We do not ask the public site for Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, driver’s-license numbers, or dates of birth. If you pay an invoice, you do that on a payment processor’s page, not ours.

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes
  • Perform and support services you have asked us for
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website
  • Understand how the site is used and how fast it loads (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Microsoft Clarity)
  • Measure advertising and conversions (Google Ads linked to Google Analytics)
  • Send operational messages you requested or that relate to work we are doing (email, phone, and, if you opted in or are a client under the MSA, SMS)
  • Send marketing email or marketing SMS only if you separately opted in
  • Meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping duties, and protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share mobile-number opt-in data with anyone for their marketing. We do share ads-measurement and conversion data with Google as described in section 4.

3. How we share it

We share personal information with vendors who process it for us, on our instructions:

  • Website hosting and content delivery (Vercel, Inc.)
  • Forms, CRM, and ticketing tools
  • Microsoft 365 / SharePoint (contact-form records in a Voyager-owned list)
  • Email delivery
  • SMS / text-message vendors
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager)
  • Vercel, Inc. (Web Analytics and Speed Insights)
  • Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity, and Microsoft 365 as above)
  • Security and spam-prevention tools (for example Cloudflare Turnstile), if enabled
  • Payment processors, when you pay us through their page
  • Professional advisors (accountant, attorney) as needed
  • Authorities, if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or a legal claim

Those vendors are not free to use your information for their own marketing. Some of them (including Google) have their own privacy policies for the processing they do as independent controllers of their logs.

We may also share information in a merger, sale, or similar business transaction, or with a successor.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed to run the site, plus the measurement and advertising tools below. Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity are loaded through Google Tag Manager. Tag Manager is a container. It only runs those tags. Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights use Vercel’s own site integration, not Tag Manager. Microsoft Advertising, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and similar pixels are not in use. Adding any of those is a new update to this policy, not a silent tag.

Google Analytics (GA4). We use Google Analytics to see how people use the site: pages, time on page, referring sites, device type, and general geographic area. Google sets cookies and receives your IP address and device information. Google’s practices: policies.google.com/privacy. Browser add-on: Google Analytics opt-out.

Google Ads. We run Google Ads and link them to GA4 so we can measure conversions (for example, a successful contact-form submission, a click-to-call, or a click-to-email). Google sets advertising and conversion cookies (including identifiers such as gclid). We use this to see which ads led to real inquiries, not to sell your information. We do not currently use Google Ads remarketing lists or customer-match uploads of our client/lead lists. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Conversion events we send to Google do not include the contents of the form (no name, email, phone, or message in the event). They are flags that an action happened.

Google Search Console. We use Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search (queries, clicks, impressions, coverage). It is a webmaster tool, not a cookie we place on your browser. Google already has that search data from operating Search.

Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. The site is hosted on Vercel. Web Analytics records aggregated page views, referrers, approximate location, browser, and device. Vercel says it does not use third-party cookies for this; visitors are identified by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours. Speed Insights records Core Web Vitals and similar performance metrics (route, device, country, load times) without tying them to a named person. Vercel’s product privacy pages: Web Analytics and Speed Insights.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Clarity for heatmaps and session replay: mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, pages, device, and a replay of the visit. Clarity sets cookies. Input boxes and dropdowns are masked in all Clarity modes and are not uploaded as typed text. We will keep masking on at least Balanced (Clarity’s default) and will not switch to Relaxed. We will also mark the contact form so the form area stays masked. Clarity can still record that you visited the page, clicked, and scrolled. Microsoft’s statement: clarity.microsoft.com/privacy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Regional loading. This site is aimed at U.S. businesses. We do not show a cookie banner. For visitors we identify as being in the United States, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Clarity load normally. For visitors whose country is unknown or identified as anywhere outside the United States, we do not load those tools. Cookieless Vercel measurement may still run. Country is taken from the hosting request (it is not perfect if you use a VPN). If we later advertise outside the United States, we will update this policy.

You can refuse cookies in your browser. The site may still work. Refusing cookies does not stop Vercel’s cookieless hash or Google Search Console, and it may limit our ability to measure an ad click.

5. Text messages

If you check an SMS box on a Voyager form, or you are a client who gave us a mobile number under our Master Services Agreement, we may text you.

For clients, that includes tickets, scheduling, dispatch, technician on-the-way and on-site messages, after-hours and emergency contact, outages, Quotes, invoices, payment and failed-payment notices, and other operational messages about work we are doing. It does not include advertising or marketing unless you separately opt in.

For website visitors, we only text the categories you checked on the form (typically replies and scheduling about that inquiry). We do not treat submitting a contact form, by itself, as consent to marketing texts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS, HELP for help, or contact us at 248-784-3900 or help@voyagerit.com. STOP ends texts. It does not end email, phone, or a client agreement.

We share mobile numbers with vendors who send messages for us, only to deliver those messages. We do not share text-messaging originator opt-in data or consent with third parties for their marketing.

6. Email

If you ask for a newsletter or other promotional email, we will send it only after a separate opt-in. Every marketing email will include our postal address and an unsubscribe link.

Replies to an inquiry you sent us, quotes, invoices, tickets, and other messages about work you asked us to discuss or do are not marketing. Those do not need a newsletter checkbox and may continue after you unsubscribe from marketing.

7. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and contact records as long as we need them to handle the request, maintain the relationship, and meet legal, tax, and dispute-related recordkeeping. If you consented to SMS, we keep that consent record (what you were shown, checkbox state, number, time, and page) for four years. Other website inquiries are kept for about two years unless we still have an open conversation with you. We do not store full form-submission IP addresses in SharePoint. For spam and abuse prevention, we may use temporary security logs or immediately create a one-way hash of an IP address instead. Those temporary logs and hashes are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security. Analytics and ads-measurement data follows each vendor’s retention settings for our account (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Vercel, and Clarity). SMS consent records are kept long enough to show what you agreed to. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course of operations.

8. Your choices

  • Access or correction. Email clientsuccess@voyagerit.com. We will respond within 30 days.
  • Marketing email. Unsubscribe link, or email clientsuccess@voyagerit.com.
  • SMS. Reply STOP, or call or email us.
  • Cookies, analytics, and ads. Browser controls; Google Analytics opt-out add-on above. Clarity cookies are also browser-controlled. Google’s ad-settings: adssettings.google.com.
  • Do not call / do not email for a specific inquiry: tell us in the message, or email help@voyagerit.com.

This site is aimed at U.S. businesses. We are not a “business” under the California Consumer Privacy Act at current thresholds and do not offer a CCPA “Do Not Sell” link. If that changes, we will update this policy.

9. Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think we have, email clientsuccess@voyagerit.com and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small business website and our contact records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Security incidents

If a security incident involving personal information we own or license is likely to cause substantial loss, injury, or identity theft to a Michigan resident, we will notify as required by the Michigan Identity Theft Protection Act, including MCL 445.72, and any other law that applies. Incidents affecting Client Data we process for a client are handled under the Master Services Agreement, not this page.

12. Third-party sites

Links on our site (including blog posts and vendor names) go to other people’s sites. Their privacy practices are their own. This policy does not cover them.

13. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If we make a material change, we will also put a short notice on the homepage or email contacts we have. The posted policy is the current one.
